Tech firm launches new app to help end 'male fertility crisis'

Virilitas Labs, based at Norwich Research Park, has developed the app to provide men with personalised fertility guidance based on their lifestyle, as well as instant support from an AI assistant trained on reproductive health guidelines.

Users can access information to better understand their reproductive health and engage with a community hub designed to connect people facing similar challenges, while maintaining privacy to help overcome stigma and encourage earlier engagement with care.

The platform also enables users to book consultations with fertility specialists directly.

The app, which is now available on Google Play and Apple App Store, has been developed from research by Prof Simone Immler and Dr Daniel Marcu, who identified that while there is lots of information and support available for women, help for men is limited.
