The Middle East is once again passing through a critical period in which the flames of war are no longer confined to national borders. Instead, they are spreading across the region, threatening peace, economic stability, and global security. The recent missile attacks by Houthi rebels against Saudi Arabia have made the situation even more alarming.

Reports on 8 October 2026, concerning damage involving Riyadh Airport and a Saudi passenger aircraft, along with further threats of attacks against Saudi facilities, have placed regional peace at serious risk. These developments have made it clear that the consequences of escalating tensions in the region cannot remain confined to a single country.

Saudi Arabia is not merely a geographical state. It is the land that is home to Makkah and Madinah, where Muslims from every corner of the world gather each year to perform Hajj and Umrah. The hearts of Muslims everywhere are deeply connected to the Two Holy Mosques. For this reason, the security of Saudi Arabia is not simply a matter of protecting its borders and national sovereignty.

Today, the Muslim Ummah does not need to add more fuel to the fire of hatred; it needs to light the flame of unity.
