“I wasn’t referring to him. I meant Ji as in Ji Hazoor and I guess the best translation I can think of is Yes Sir, though I am not sure that the English version encapsulates the servility of all the directives received in all possible tones – acquiescence, disdain, dismissal…”

“You couldn’t be referring to the Chief Minister of Punjab, the only one she listens to is daddy and that too after presenting him with alternate solutions and…”

“You are right.”
