ANKARA — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is among the most high-profile guests at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, all of whom traveled to Turkey as Ankara continues its delicate balancing act between Western capitals and Moscow.

The three-day annual diplomatic forum, which was first launched in 2021, is being attended by nearly 20 state and government heads, including Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Iraqi Kurdish President Nechirvan Barzani and Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, as well as over 100 foreign dignitaries from around the world.

On the sidelines of the forum, which will go till Sunday, Lavrov also met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

Fidan reiterated his country’s readiness to facilitate talks between Russia and Ukraine, Turkish officials briefing the press following the meeting said.
