When my world is at its busiest, I try to force myself to refocus my energy.
It’s all a matter of perspective.
I could choose to be frustrated with the 9,000 things on my plate … or I could choose to be thankful that I’m busy. After all, If I’m busy helping my family with projects, it’s because I have a family to help.
If I’m busy cleaning the house, it’s because I have a home, and those dirty dishes? They are simply the result of having a meal that we enjoyed.
It even applies to work, because if I’m busy working, I’ve got an income, and it’s one that I earned doing something I enjoy.
It’s all about perspective, and giving myself – and my family – the grace, space and love to thrive.
It’s a matter of choosing to be thankful, of appreciating the moments big and small, and knowing that perspective too is a choice – and I’m choosing a positive one.
Happy Thanksgiving, readers.
