Guest Column: I thought I knew everything about Onvida

Growing up in Yuma, I always believed I understood our hospital–its people, its pace, and its place in our lives. For my family, Onvida wasn’t just a building; it was a constant. It’s where all eleven of my children were born. It’s where I’ve paced hallways as a nervous dad, checked on relatives, and trusted local clinicians with the most important moments in life. After generations of my family walking through those doors, I assumed there wasn’t much left for me to learn.
