Corporate media mishandles Trump. Invest in civic journalism instead.
As of Jan. 5, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a nonprofit created by the federal government to promote public broadcasting, is dissolved and defunct, and in the current media environment, it’s no mystery why.

Now, in the span of weeks, "60 Minutes" spiked a segment critical of administration policy, CBS News rebranded its flagship evening broadcast with a promise to “love America,” and The Washington Post's Editorial Board endorsed a military venture that violates a longstanding constitutional statute.
