Words are Wind
There is a glaring disconnect between what Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Gohar Ali Khan claims to be his party’s position on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and what many of its senior figures appear to believe and practice. Speaking at a press briefing in Islamabad, the PTI chairman used all the right language, asserting that his party stands firmly against terrorism and supports absolute coordination between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Centre in eradicating it. He condemned terrorism unequivocally, declaring that terrorists have no religion, nationality, or boundaries, and that an attack on one part of the country is an attack on the entire nation.
