In Gloversville, the Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home and Wellness Council collected $6,500 through a basket raffle to raise funds for the “Warm the Children” program — a partnership between Nathan Littauer Hospital & Nursing Home and Fulmont Community Action Agency, Inc., that allows Fulmont to be able to provide warm clothing for local children in need.

In Albany, the “Dancing in the Woods” holiday gala recently raised more than $560,000 for the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The center treats more than 1,500 children each year with cancer and blood........
