Kabul has an indispensable choice to realign itself with Islamabad, and reorient its policies to defeat terrorism. The Taliban rulers are, indeed, making life impossible for their own countrymen as closure of borders with Pakistan is costing their economy a staggering $2.5 million a day. That is why the Foreign Office was categorical in saying that there is a Hobson's choice for the Afghan dispensation to either behave or perish.
