Hallie Shoffner is running for Senate in Arkansas, angling to beat Republican incumbent Tom Cotton. 

Shoffner’s website pitches the candidate as a “sixth-generation farmer” who wants to “take the fight to Washington.” But Shoffner, according to the Washington Free Beacon, “spent years working as a left-wing activist—and hired a marketing firm to build a ‘new brand’ as ‘FarmHerHallie.’”

“My whole life, I’ve been a rice and soybean farmer,” Shoffner claims in a November campaign video.

Shoffner’s worn a few other hats, the Free Beacon discovered. As a master’s student at the University of Arkansas’ Clinton School of Public Service, she “developed a fundraising strategy and donor database for PROMSEX, a nonprofit that works to promote........
