Swindon Town’s first signing of the January transfer window, Michael Olakigbe, is ready to get the fans excited with his style of play.

Olakigbe arrived at Town on loan from Brentford to help replace the injured Paul Glatzel and recalled Princewill Ehibhatiomhan in Ian Holloway’s attacking rotation.

Having already had loan spells with Wigan Athletic, Peterborough United, and Chesterfield, Olakigbe is a player who understands the rigours of senior football.

During his time at the SMH Group Stadium in the second half last season, Olakigbe ranked in the 97th percentile for successful dribbles, in the 93rd percentile for touches in the opposition box, and in the 90th percentile for chances created, as he displayed his ability to get fans off their seats.
