A notice of motion concerning Gwent Pension fund investments was recently debated at full council. The notice of motion asked that the fund disinvest from companies connected to Israel based on the lie that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, ignoring the fact that the Labour government, not exactly a friend of Israel, found no evidence of genocide.
