A whole year has come and gone so quickly, and the festive season has started to take hold across Newport. I always enjoy Christmas with concerts, carol services and light switch ons in my diary.

It gives me the chance to reflect on and appreciate all that our community has achieved over the last 12 months. It’s also a time when the generosity and resilience of the people of Newport East shines brighter than ever.
