KARACHI – The buying rate for Saudi Arabia Riyal in Pakistan dropped to Rs74.45 while the selling rate stands at Rs75.2 on Tuesday, according to forex.pk.
Data available on the currency website showed the Saudi Riyal saw no change against Pakistani currency.
The Saudi riyal is the official currency of Saudi Arabia. It is abbreviated as SAR, or SR. One Riyal is subdivided into 100 halalas.
More than 2.7 million Pakistani expatriates live in the Saudi Arabia for their jobs or businesses. The significant presence of Pakistanis in the Kingdom makes the SAR to PKR exchange rate one of most interested topic for them.
As of February 06, the Riyal rate stands at Rs74.45 in open market. So, the 500 Saudi Riyal will be equal to Rs37,225 in Pakistani currency.
