KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather and light rain/drizzle for Karachi and surroundings on Tuesday evening/night.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave is likely to affect north-eastern parts of Balochistan and southern Punjab in next 24 hours.

Under these conditions, mainly cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of Sindh on Tuesday evening/night, Wednesday and Thursday.

However, drizzle may occur in Karachi and surroundings on Tuesday evening/night.

Karachi’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 17-19 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, cold and partly cloudy weather prevailed in most districts of the province during the last 24 hours.

Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped to 06 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 74 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.
