Three police officers accused of misconduct over ‘deliberate’ crash into cyclist

The trio - two male PCs and one female - were all in the vehicle when the alleged crash occurred.

PC Frederick Boyle, who was behind the wheel, is accused of deliberately causing the collision and then failing to take adequate steps to ensure the cyclist's welfare.

He is also said to have not reported the crash as a police vehicle related-incident to either the force control room or a supervisor.

His two colleagues, PC Kerron Tuttle and PC Abigail Thomas, are alleged to have failed to report the collision or ensure the cyclist’s welfare.

All three will face a five-day misconduct hearing in the new year at the Norfolk police headquarters in Wymondham which could result in their dismissal if the charges are upheld by a........
