Mitch Thornton, of Thurlby Road, Bowthorpe went missing on Tuesday.
The UEA Law graduate was not heard from after sending a text message to his mum Maxine Frost about a re-scheduled job interview at 9.47am on Tuesday.
After replying to his message, Mrs Frost did not hear from her 24-year-old son.
After being reported missing later that day, searches were going on throughout this week but came to an end on Saturday.
Mum Maxine posted on Facebook on Sunday morning saying: "It is with great sadness to let you all know that Mitch Thornton was found yesterday.

"To say we are absolutely devastated is an understatement. Love you forever my darling boy."
The community has come out to support the family during this time with hundreds of comments passing on condolences .
One said: "I don’t know how to properly express just how sorry for your loss I am."
"My heart aches for you and your family, all of your beautiful boy’s friends and of course for Mitch. Sending deepest condolences."
Another person posted: "My deepest condolences to you and your family Maxine. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through. The world has lost a beautiful soul. Love and prayers xxx."
A further tribute read: "This is so sad. Another youngster gone too soon. Something needs to be done to help."
Norfolk Police have been contacted for further comment.
The constabulary had confirmed they had been looking for Mitch.
A police spokeswoman said: "Mitchell remains a missing person and efforts are under way to find him. We will be in contact with the family throughout."
