Norfolk County Council began installing new traffic lights at the junction of Boundary Road and Whiffler Road in Norwich on January 9.

And the organisation has planned for repair works to take place at the same time, in Peverell Road, a residential street near the city.

But, although these projects will cause days of disruption, drivers have been told to brace themselves for weeks of delays in one of the busiest streets in Norwich, Unthank Road.
