Ermir Gjocera, 22, of no fixed address, was found hiding in the cannabis factory in Ranworth Road, Earlham, on February 6.

Police seized 55 cannabis plants, hydroponic equipment and harvested cannabis with a street value of £4,640.

Gjocera was arrested for producing a controlled class B drug and taken to Wymondham Police Station where he was questioned and later charged.

He appeared at Norwich Crown Court on April 6 after pleading guilty to growing cannabis and possession with intent to supply the drug.

Gjocera was sentenced to eight months in prison and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187.
