New Delhi: Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 3 wickets in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh. Rahul Tewatia’s 36 off 18 balls took GT over the line, he smashed 7 boundaries. Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan took on Kagiso Rabada and smacked him for 20 runs. Harshal Patel took two wickets in the 19th over but GT just needed one run in the last over and Tewatia scored the boundary on the first ball of the 20th over.

Earlier, PBKS posted 142 runs in the 20 overs. Sam Curran and Prabhsimran provided a great to the team but after them, none of the other PBKS batters contributed with the bat. Harpreet Brar scored 29 runs off 12 balls for PBKS.

In the 36th match of the IPL 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 1 run in the last-over thriller. KKR batted first and scored 222 runs in the overs. Philip Salt and skipper Shreyas Iyer contributed with the bat. Russell and Ramandeep also played crucial cameos.

Chasing the target of 223, RCB lost both the openers in the powerplay. Will Jacks and Patidar stitched a partnership but both got out after scoring their fifty. Karn Sharma smashed three sixes in the last over when 21 runs were needed. But Starc dismissed him on the fifth ball of the 20th over. 3 runs were needed of the last ball, Ferguson hit the ball towards deep extra cover and charged for a second run but Salt did brilliant work behind the wicket to dismiss him.
