Nalgonda Station Upgrade: Lifts, waiting halls, parking work completed

Nalgonda railway station is getting a ₹17 crore upgrade under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The revamp includes improved waiting halls, lifts, platform shelters, parking, signage, toilets, façade work and Divyangjan-friendly facilities for daily passengers.

Nalgonda railway station in Telangana is being redeveloped at an estimated cost of ₹17 crore under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The station handles nearly 3,000 passengers every day and around 44 trains, including DEMU and MEMU services.

For many commuters, Nalgonda is the daily link to Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Kacheguda and Lingampally for jobs, small business........
