India ring in four changes for South Africa ODIs as KL Rahul leads squad
New Delhi: India’s limited-overs plans have taken a sharp turn ahead of the three-match ODI series against South Africa, with the BCCI announcing a revamped squad that reflects both injury setbacks and fresh opportunities. The series is set to begin on 30 November, followed by a five-match T20I leg.
Shubman Gill has been ruled out as he got his neck injured in the opening Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, forcing the selectors to rethink the top order. KL Rahul steps in as captain for the ODI leg while Shreyas Iyer will also miss out as he continues to recover from a rib injury that he picked up while taking a catch........
