EaseMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti named accused in Mahadev betting money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate has named EaseMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti as an accused in the Mahadev betting money laundering case, alleging stock market manipulation and routing of betting proceeds. Pitti has denied wrongdoing and said he will contest the allegations in court.

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has named EaseMyTrip co-founder Nishant Pitti as an accused in the Mahadev online betting app money laundering case. The agency has alleged that Pitti helped route betting proceeds linked to Skyexchange into the Indian stock market through foreign portfolio investments (FPIs).

The allegations form part of the ED’s fifth supplementary chargesheet filed before a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Raipur. The agency has also provisionally attached shares worth Rs 59.60 crore held by Pitti in........
