Andy Murray shares why he is disappointed about his experience coaching Novak Djokovic
New Delhi: Andy Murray took on a fresh challenge after stepping away from professional tennis, joining former rival Novak Djokovic’s coaching team late last year. It was a partnership that caught everyone by surprise and sparked huge curiosity across the tennis world. But just six months later, the collaboration had ended and Murray had now opened up about why the experience had left him a little disappointed.
When Murray linked up with Djokovic in November 2024, the aim was to help the 24-time Grand Slam champion rediscover his best form. Their real stunt showed encouraging signs as Djokovic reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open as he even produced a stunning comeback against current world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals.
But that run ended abruptly with Djokovic........
