New Delhi: Veteran actor Govardhan Asrani, known for his iconic roles, passed away on Monday, October 20, at around 3 pm at the age of 84. He was admitted to Aroyaga Nidhi Hospital as he was suffering from lung issues.

Asrani was admitted to the hospital for the past four days, and his last rites were held at Santacruz Crematorium in Mumbai. The tragic news was shared by his nephew Anand Asrani.

Babubhai Thiba (Asrani’s manager) confirmed that the actor had been unwell for the past 15 days and was suffering from breathing issues.
