SAN FRANCISCO — OpenAI has quietly rolled out a new translation tool, ChatGPT Translate, positioning its flagship AI against Google Translate in a battle for dominance in the global language services market. OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Translate earlier this week without a formal announcement, blog post, or press release.
