Mark Cuban built his career around moving quickly. That intensity helped him create companies, make investments, and turn Broadcast.com into a business Yahoo acquired for $5.7 billion. It also created a problem he did not initially recognize. Cuban recently recalled that his longtime business partner, Todd Wagner, told him employees were afraid of him, and that the fear was getting in the way of productivity.
