Scientists agree that human-driven climate change is forcing changes on global weather patterns and even triggering extreme weather events—-even if this conclusion runs counter to conservative political narratives. Now research from global consulting giant Deloitte shows that these large-scale disruptions, which affect billions of people and ecosystems all around the planet, are also having local-scale results that are harming how businesses run, impacting everything from supply chain reliability to employees’ health.
