BBC Chair Apologises For 'Error Of Judgement' Amid Donald Trump Bias Row

The BBC’s chairman has apologised for an “error of judgement” over the editing of Donald Trump in a Panorama programme.
Director general Tim Davie and the chief executive of BBC News Deborah Turness resigned over claims Panorama “doctored” a speech made by the US president before the January 6 riots back in 2020.
The row was sparked after the Daily Telegraph revealed a 19-page report sent to the BBC board by Michael Prescott, a former external adviser to the corporation’s editorial guidelines and standards committee.
