The “Make America Great Again” movement undermines America’s moral and civic foundations by promoting loyalty to one man over truth and virtue.

MAGA has been in charge for almost a year and members of the party in Congress, the Supreme Court, and Presidency have not clearly stated when exactly America was great while strongly objecting to laws and values that have sustained our nation and culture until the present moment. We do not know what their model of greatness is, nor what period of American history this party wants us to imitate. Instead, they dismiss the very history and values that have sustained our nation. No society can build a strong future if it denies the foundations of its past.
