Time To Build Quality Human Resources For World Peace – OpEd

War, aggression, hunger and unemployment happen mainly due to psychological reasons.  Sustainable peace and prosperity is not possible without quality human resources which do not mean computer savvy highly educated people leading a modern lifestyle. A person without finer human emotions like love, fellow feelings, compassion and moral courage cannot be called a leader.  A nation cannot be strong and prosperous without instilling finer human qualities in the minds of the citizens. Family, educational institutions, society and the religions are responsible for shaping human minds which ultimately contributes to building a peaceful world. How to build quality human resources is the biggest challenge before the world community.

The joint families of Asian, African, Middle Eastern, and Latin American countries which once taught love, compassion and fellow feelings to children are on the decline due to price rise, unemployment and lifestyle change etc.  Phenomenal growth of mono culture has an adverse impact on joint families as youth migrate to big cities for jobs due to erosion of job diversity in their home towns and villages. Millions of single small ancestral houses of the Hindus in India........
