Ruth Hicks and Rachel Cook had hoped to build six houses off Bradfield Road in Trunch, near North Walsham - all of which would be self-build properties.

But North Norfolk District Council had dashed these dreams at the end of last year, after raising concerns about the remote location and highway safety.

So Miss Hicks and Mrs Cook appealed to the Planning Inspectorate to rule over the dispute.
