Campbell Welsh, 82, and his wife Sheila, 81, were hit by a car on the A148 after the service at All Saints Church in High Kelling, near Holt on December 22, 2024.

The couple were trying to cross the road to reach their parked car when they were killed.

Norfolk police have now confirmed that a man in his 50s who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving will face no further action.

The couple had retired to north Norfolk from Welwyn Garden City, in Hertfordshire, about 10 years ago.
