Bus shelter may be MOVED in saga's latest twist
Sheringham Town Council has unanimously agreed to explore new designs to take forward for the site in Station Approach in an extraordinary meeting held last night.
And it has been revealed this may include options to relocate or remodel the 1950s bus shelter.
It comes after Norfolk County Council's controversial travel hub plans for the site, which included demolishing the much-loved structure, were brought to a halt last month.
The bus stop was then suspended from use as the county council deemed it unsafe due to the number of pedestrians using it - a concern it had outlined in the proposals for the new hub scheme.

The town council's discussion on the shelter's future was held in a private session, which is when both members of the public and the press were excluded while confidential papers were tabled.
However, in its statement released today, it has said the councillors discussed possible designs for the site that "may form the basis of a way forward".
