The suspect - a man in his 40s - was picked up by police following reports a woman was raped shortly after 4am in Red Lion Street, Norwich on July 20 last year.

He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre (PIC) for questioning after before being released on bail as enquiries continued.
