Middleton Church of England Primary School, near King's Lynn, was shut on Friday and remains closed today to clean and assess damage caused by the flooding.

The Met Office issued a weather warning for torrential downpours across the county on Saturday evening and midday on Sunday.

A spokesman for the primary school said: "Our aim is to open classrooms as soon as they are clean and safe."

There are no other school closures in Norfolk this morning.
