Eleven fire crews were called to a hazardous material leak at the Birds Eye factory in Lowestoft just before 4.30pm on Monday.

The engines were from Holbrook, Leiston, Wrentham, Beccles, North Lowestoft, Hadleigh, Haverhill and Lowestoft South.

The fire crews worked alongside onsite engineers to isolate the source of the ammonia leak.

A stop time was called just after 7pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said there were no casualties.
