The Dun Cow in Salthouse applied to install an illuminated sign outside the venue in Purdy Street but this was met with concern from villagers.

Dr Victoria Holliday, a Conservative councillor for the area, said the pub would have to be careful in how it was lit up so it does not have an "overly adverse" effect on the area's........
