The sites in Mundesley on the coast and Edgefield, near Holt, may be disposed of by North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) under the proviso that the firms will deliver much-needed affordable housing.

Officials say there is a significant need for such schemes, as in Mundesley alone there are more than 950 people on housing waiting lists wanting to live in the village.
