Row erupts between market traders and the council over piazza plans
Great Yarmouth Borough Council has confirmed it wants to move the two-day market traders from a new look piazza area back to the north end of the market by the car park by January 17.
The council says it wants to keep the piazza area clear to make way for events in the new year.

Lenny Gordon, 66, who owns Gordon Linens and has been trading on the piazza a few days a week, said: "How do they think that a traditional town would be better with an empty space?
"They want to take away the tradition of this town. They will finish up destroying it. We are part of the community.

"They just think they can turn this into an events area and that doesn't bring any extra people. They are in cuckoo land. Sticking us down there is taking away any business there is."
The council's £5.8m regeneration project to improve the centre of Yarmouth was completed in August when the piazza area behind the market gained new paving, lighting, trees and seating.
While the works were being carried out on the piazza, the two-day market was moved to the north end of the market by the car park.
