The partner of Norfolk County Council senior transport officer Robert Pratt featured on ITV East Anglia's evening coverage of the protest on December 4.

On the programme, a woman called Rachel appeared as a local resident and she voiced her opposition to preserving the bus shelter.

She said: "For one, I like the design of the new shelter - you can all boo it's fine - but I'd like to point out there is a lot of misrepresentation that's going on at the moment, especially on social media.

"As you can clearly see there's safety issues because the pathway is very, very narrow. It may look well lit now but actually it's poorly lit, especially for younger children, especially my children who want to use this bus facility but........
