The Carousel pub in Lowestoft is set to have its licence reviewed after police concerns were raised.

Officials are asking for the venue's licence to be suspended for three months and for the removal of its landlady.

One final option could be revoking the pub's licence.

The prominent pub building at 108 High Street in Lowestoft dates back to the 1880s.

Previously the old Wheatsheaf pub, it closed amid the coronavirus lockdown in March 2020, with the lease of the grade II listed building surrendered in September 2021.
