Despite rain showers on Saturday, 133 youngsters and more than 50 volunteers united to celebrate 110 years of Cub Scouting.

The cubs from the Lowestoft district marked the special anniversary with a 'Birthday Bash' on June 6, at their Herringfleet campsite - north west of Lowestoft.

Hazel Densham, district programme team leader for Lowestoft Cubs, said: "Cub Scouts just want to have adventure – and this year, they’ve had 110 reasons to celebrate with laughter, skills, and life-changing adventures.
