Nelly - as she is fondly known at the Lound Hall Nursing Home - will be celebrating her 100th birthday next month.

And ahead of the 100th birthday celebrations at the care home on Jay Lane in Lound, near Lowestoft in February, a call has gone out for well-wishers to send in birthday cards to mark the milestone and help her celebrate the special day.

A post on the nursing home's Facebook page said: "This is our Nelly.
