Hotel's 1920s function room to be brought back to life
The Maids Head Hotel, in Tombland, is to turn its Cavell Room into guest accommodation with a new bathroom after City Hall approved the plans.
The disused room is believed to have been constructed in the 18th century and was used as a function room as shown in a photo from the 1920s.
It has fallen into disrepair and is currently used for storage.
