Field fires near Aylsham, Knapton and Thetford in Norfolk broke out on Wednesday afternoon.

Six crews were battling the blaze near Stapletons Lane, outside Aylsham, with specialist wildfire vehicles and a water carrier from 2pm to around 7pm.

Roads were closed by police in the area.

Just 10 miles away in a field near Old Hall Lane in Knapton, another six crews fought a field fire for around........
