Holiday park transformation approved despite fears it will overwhelm village
South Norfolk councillors have approved a bid to allow Waveney Valley Holiday Park in Rushall, near Diss, to install 10 additional static caravans in the place of 10 touring pitches as part of an ambitious overhaul by new owners.
Locals claimed that the certificate of lawfulness application - which saw the onsite capacity reach 56 statics and 15 tent pitches - threatened the village over fears there would be permanent visitors and a rise in anti-social behaviour.
