Holiday caravan park to become 'village in its own right' after council green light
Managers at Haveringland Hall Park, near Cawston, had sought to get permission from Broadland Council to allow 45 holiday units to be recognised as residential homes.
Supporters of the scheme argued that the move was necessary to give legal protection to people already living on the site year-round, claiming that without residential status occupants could face eviction with little notice or basic legal protections.

The approval marks a u-turn by the council, which attempted to enforce holiday-only use at the park in 2023.
