The duo behind Towntickers, a TikTok and Instagram account on a quest to "poetically" review towns across the country, have paid a visit to Fakenham.

They previously slammed Watton, describing it as "rubbish" and rating it just three and a half out of seven.

And now Fakenham has joined the ranks of their least favourite Norfolk jaunts.

But locals have criticised the account's take on the town, claiming they simply visited on the wrong day.

The duo started their critical rhyme by bluntly stating: "This town in Norfolk disappointed us.

"Norfolk is a county that we’ve mostly liked so far. But the next town that we visited failed to hit the par.

"It was the last [town] of the day, and we were in search of a bar. So we had a walk around Fakenham. Tesco took care of the car."
